Please contact the parish office for latest information on baptism ceremonies.

baptismal font200Congratulations!  We are delighted to welcome your child into our community and we hope the Baptism of your child will be an enjoyable and memorable occasion for you.

Arrangements for Baptism should be made in the Parish Office on Sundays between 11.30 am and 12.15 pm.

Baptism ceremonies are held on the first Sunday of the month after the 12:15 mass and on the Third Saturday of the month at 3:30 pm.

In this parish we have in place a Baptism Preparation Team to support parents, explain the Baptism Liturgy and answer questions.

The Parish requests parents to participate in a Baptism Preparation Programme which involves compulsory attendance at a preparation meeting. A member of the team will discuss the arrangements for this with you when you register.

Download the baptism form from this link. Print out the form, complete it and return it to the parish office.

  • Advent Calendar 2021

Advent Calendar 2021The first day of Advent heralds the beginning of the Catholic Church’s new year.  Advent (from ‘ad-venire’ in Latin or “to come to”) is the Church season encompassing the four Sundays and weekdays leading up to the celebration of Christmas.  Advent is a time of spiritual preparation for the Lord’s coming at Christmas.  Advent also prepares us for the second coming of Christ at the end of time.

  • Week of Witness

Week of witness2021From November 22nd to November 26th, ACN Ireland invites parishes across the country to join them in a Week of Witness for suffering and persecuted Christians. This special week involves important talks and exhibitions throughout the island of Ireland on the theme of Christian persecution. During the ‘Week of Witness’, ACN Ireland will hold the Red Wednesday Prayer Vigil with the prayerful assistance of dioceses and parishes throughout the country. Red Wednesday is an opportunity for the faithful to gather as a community of worshippers to publicly affirm their thanks to God, their spiritual union with persecuted Christians - and to pray for those who persecuted the Church and Her faithful.
